CARA has partnered with members of the CARA Scholars at Risk UK Universities Network and other institutions and individuals to provide its beneficiaries with bespoke professional careers advice. The academics CARA support have a wealth of expertise in their home countries and this service will help them to find employment in the UK commensurate with their qualifications and experience.

If you are currently undertaking a programme of study at a UK University or have recently graduated we strongly advise that you make use of the University’s Careers Service. These services are free-of-charge for enrolled students and some Universities offer access to alumni for up to three years. We recommend contacting your University to find out what resources are available to you.
