What Universities Can Do

There are a number of ways that UK universities and academics can assist CARA in its work.

Members of the UK Universities Network are invited to host a refugee or persecuted academic. Hostings are vital in enabling persecuted academics to maintain engagement in their field after a period of dislocation, loss and uncertainty.

Individual academics are also invited to join our pool of academic advisors, to provide specialist advice and guidance and mentoring opportunities to refugee or persecuted academics.
